Tessa Barret is an experienced solicitor and represents employees from all sectors on a full range of employment-related issues.

She was originally qualified as a barrister, however later cross qualified as a solicitor so she could offer a high level of involvement in clients’ cases from beginning to end, and not just at the court or tribunal stage.

Tessa has developed a niche specialism in work-related psychiatric injury (stress at work) claims. She also has particular expertise in negotiating exits for employees and bringing and defending discrimination matters, with significant experience in disability and pregnancy & maternity discrimination cases. She also has a wealth of experience in TUPE matters providing straightforward advice to employees on this intricate and complex area of law.
